Name, design and build it well. Keep to schedule and commit. That’s 50% of great e-newsletters. The other 50% is content.
I got an e-newsletter yesterday.
I learned a customer loved their logod mousemats and pens. After checking it was 2023 (mousemats?) I looked for something interesting. I decoded:
“Customer wants things. We did things. They loved things.”
Blimey, it was dull. I clenched my teeth. Squeezed my knees. And squeaked.
If, ‘We did what we said’, is all you have; forget naming, designing, building, commitment and consistency.
Please… Find. Your. Story.
Tell it beautifully and interestingly.
Business is much better that way.
