If you don’t ever lose control.

And what you lose is all so very valuable.

Necessary.

Control is necessary, of course.

But definitely not all of the time.

Not when you’re creating.

And not if you want to be ‘the best kind of confident’.

I have a challenge for you.

I think that your more natural state right now is this:

I feel more confident when I am in control.

And I’d challenge you.

Every now and then.

To look for the best kind of confident:

I feel confident when I lose control.

It’s because I think that the combination of confidence.

And being comfortable with being out of control.

Is so powerful.

It’s where the magic happens.

Serendipity.

Happy accidents.

Weirdness.

Uniqueness.

Boldness.

Daftness.

Likeability.

And fun.

Control.
